New Volunteer Of The Month

Arlinda occasionally helps out serving as door greeter and checking your membership card when you come to the Lodge. You and all other volunteers are appreciated and no matter what you do it is for the benefit of the Lodge.

Greetings Fellow Members,

I would like to thank everyone who came out for the election of officers. Our new officers for the upcoming moose year are Jim Klug, Governor; Lyndon Wipf, Junior Governor; Jim Ryen, Prelate; Marlo Blomberg, Treasurer; and Kirk Schoepp, 3 Year Trustee.

Upcoming events that I would like to remind you of is the Memorial Service to be held on May 7th at 1:00 p.m. And another activity that we have coming up is the Moose “All-City” picnic to be held on June 4th from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the parking lot of the Lodge. Food and prizes for all ages.

The International Moose Convention is also coming up in Tampa Bay, Florida from June 28th to July 3rd. If anyone is interested in attending we have information available at the Lodge.

Again I would like to thank everyone for your support the last two years and please support the new board of officers.

Well another year has gone by.

The new officers for the Women of the Moose are Junior Regent Donna Jean Hanson, Recorder Patty Schoepp, Secretary-Treasurer is Rita Schwan and Junior Grad. Regent is Bonny Atanasu. We still need a Senior Regent.

Hope all had a nice Easter. Happy Mother’s Day to all of our ladies.

The women do the burgers and lunch on May 12th and 13th. Anyone who wants to help us, please give me a call.

Memorial Day will be here soon. School will be out and graduation over with. Take time to spend with your family.

Please start attending our meetings. They are informal and we’d love to have you!

I would like to mention that all board members, except for myself are all volunteers. These men give their time voluntarily for the betterment of the Lodge. So if you get the chance, tell these men thank you for what they do. All Lodge functions depend on these board members. These men have experience in what it takes to keep your Lodge solvent. Years ago board members forgot about the Lodge and only thought of what was good for themselves and just about broke 239. Trust what I say when I state that these men have the Lodge at heart.

Memorial Service on May 7th at 1:00 p.m. to pay tribute to all members and co-workers that have passed on this last year. Everyone is welcome to come and pay their respects to these members.

One thing I would like to mention also is that if you know anyone that is having trouble with medical needs, please get in touch with me so we can fill out the form to see if the Lodge can help with expenses.
